Get to Know Me

 Mike grew up in a golf centric family in Orlando, Florida. He played numerous sports growing up, but was drawn to golf while playing casual rounds with family friends. Mike  competed in numerous events during his time at Florida State University, where he graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management with a concentration in PGA Golf Management in 2012.

During his collegiate career Mike spent time as an intern at The Country Club in Brookline as well as Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago. After college, he was an Assistant Golf Professional at Caves Valley Golf Club and Old Memorial Golf Club. Currently, Mike is the First Assistant / Teaching Professional at Ardsley Country Club in Ardsley-On-Hudson, New York.

Mike has a passion for helping golfers improve their game. He believes all golf swings are unique, and there are functional ways for everyone to swing." He focuses on fundamentals, strategy, as well as the emotional side of the game. Mike's experience includes teaching beginners up to advanced / elite level players.

During the winter months, Mike spends time teaching at Drive 495 in New York City. He is a Certified PGA Professional in Teaching and Coaching. He has also obtained certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute. He has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2013.
